We organise several outings a year for each class. Outings are related to projects that the class is working on and to develop cultural, artistic or scientific skills.
Past trips have included London museums such as the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the Design Museum, the National Gallery, Wetland, Tower of London as well as cultural tours in London. All outings are conscientiously planned by the teacher with the help of the host organisations. In December, each class enjoys a festive Christmas outing to see a theatre show.
Parents are invited to join in the fun, though they have to confirm their interest in advance to the teacher as the number of places is limited.
School Trip
We firmly endorse the profound impact of educational excursions on social, personal, and emotional growth. The opportunity to explore new environments serves as a catalyst for mental and emotional development, equipping students with essential life skills and bolstering their sense of independence and self-confidence. That’s why our CM2 take part every year to a residential trip away for 3 days.
Our expedition takes us to the picturesque landscapes of Norfolk, where an outdoor adventure camp awaits. Tucked away amidst serene natural surroundings, this idyllic setting provides the perfect backdrop for immersive learning experiences. Here, students embark on a journey of collaborative exploration, fostering bonds of teamwork and camaraderie as they navigate through a diverse array of activities.
From high ropes courses to orienteering challenges, students are immersed in a dynamic curriculum designed to ignite their sense of adventure and resilience. Through kayaking on tranquil waters, scaling rock walls, and navigating obstacle courses, they not only enhance their physical abilities but also cultivate invaluable traits such as perseverance and determination.
